What does a custom AI build include beyond the AI itself?
Everything it needs to work in your business: the data that feeds it, the connections into your systems, the infrastructure it runs on, and how it is supported once it’s live. For an application that answers from your documents, how well it searches them matters as much as the AI behind it.
What is Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and when do you use it?
RAG connects AI to your own documents, records and databases, so answers come from information your business already has, with the source shown. It suits knowledge that exists but is hard to find, such as policies, contracts, manuals and case history. Your data is not used to train anything for anyone else.
Can you work with our data as it is today?
Yes. You don’t need to clean up your data before we start, because we do that with you as part of the build. We find what each system holds, check and map the records as they move, and connect systems. Your AI is then trained on data it can actually use.
How do you keep the AI working well once it is live?
AI is only as good as the data it works from, so keeping that data current matters most. After going live we stay in touch, your team tells us how it is working for them, and we agree any changes or improvements with you.
Can our data stay within our own systems?
Yes. Every custom AI system we build can run inside your own network, on your own servers, in a private or hybrid cloud, or fully offline. We can also train the AI within your environment, so your data stays inside the boundary you set. We agree where everything runs with you at stage 2 of our process.
How much would it cost to build tailored AI software?
It depends on the size of the work, so it starts with a short call and then discovery. Once the scope is clear, smaller, well defined projects can run at a fixed price, and larger or ongoing work on a monthly retainer set around your budget.
